John Deere Engine Performance

At the heart of this set is the John Deere 6090HF485, a four stroke, turbocharged, air to air aftercooled engine producing up to 287 kW at 1800 rpm. An electronic governor holds frequency regulation to 0.5% for stable output under changing loads.

The J250UC3 IV uses a 4 pole, shunt excited Leroy Somer LSA462L6 alternator, direct coupled to the engine. A Merlin Gerin main line circuit breaker comes wired and rated for maximum output.

Enclosures, Fuel Tanks, and Accessories

Outdoor installations benefit from the M227 weather and soundproof enclosure, which brings noise down to 72.5 dB(A) at 7 meters. The M227 includes a 103 gallon tank, while the M227-DW steps up to 221 gallons.
