The D330 ships with oil and coolant rated to minus 30 degrees Celsius already installed, and includes a 24V charge alternator, DC electric starter, charged starting battery, and a full manual for use and installation. A main line circuit breaker is fitted as standard, and the mechanically welded chassis with antivibration suspension ensures structural integrity and reduced vibration transmission throughout the unit's service life.
Doosan Engine Performance Inside the D330
The Doosan P126TI-II is a six-cylinder inline turbocharged engine with air-to-air intercooling, a displacement of 11.05 liters, and a compression ratio of 17:1. Running at 1500 RPM, it produces a maximum standby output of 294 kW with a BMEP of 19.11 bar, reflecting strong mechanical efficiency across the load range.
Fuel consumption scales predictably from 63.10 L/h at full load down to 31.30 L/h at 50% load, supporting cost-effective operation in variable demand environments. The cooling system uses Glycol-Ethylene coolant with a thermostat range of 71 to 85 degrees Celsius and a maximum water temperature of 103 degrees Celsius, keeping the engine protected even under sustained heavy loads.
Exhaust gas exits at 590 degrees Celsius with a flow rate of 790 L/s, and the system accommodates a maximum back pressure of 600 mm EC.
Alternator Specifications for the SDMO D330
The AT02260T alternator delivers a continuous nominal rating of 318 kVA at 40 degrees Celsius and a standby rating of 350 kVA at 27 degrees Celsius, operating at a power factor of 0.80. Total harmonic distortion is held below 2.5% both at no load and on load, and the AVR voltage regulation system maintains stable output across the full load range.
With a single-bearing direct coupling design, brushless and collarless technology, and insulation class H, this alternator is built to handle demanding load cycles reliably. The unbalanced load acceptance ratio of 100% is a notable advantage for installations where load distribution across phases may not always be uniform.
Control Panel Options
The D330 comes standard with the APM303 control panel, a versatile LCD-equipped unit operable in manual or automatic mode. It provides complete electrical measurements including phase-to-neutral and phase-to-phase voltages, active power, power factor, and kWh energy metering, along with a 12-event fault log and Modbus RTU communication over RS485 for straightforward integration into building management systems.
For operators requiring more advanced functionality, the optional TELYS panel adds a scroll-wheel navigation interface, remote PC connectivity, and USB communication, while the optional APM802 delivers a full touchscreen HMI compliant with IEC 61131-3 for power plant management across hospitals, data centers, and industrial facilities.
Soundproofed and Containment Enclosure Options for the D330
The D330 is available in a soundproofed M228 enclosure measuring 4,475 mm x 1,410 mm x 2,430 mm with a dry weight of 3,670 kg and the same 470 L tank capacity as the open version. This enclosure achieves an acoustic pressure level of 81 dB(A) at one meter and 71 dB(A) at seven meters, with a guaranteed sound power level of 101 dB(A) Lwa, making it suitable for noise-sensitive installation environments.
For applications requiring secondary fuel containment, the M228 DW containment version extends the length to 4,527 mm, increases height to 2,700 mm, and expands tank capacity to 1,368 liters while maintaining the same acoustic performance ratings.
