Doosan Engine Performance and Cooling

The Doosan P126TI engine runs at 1500 RPM with a turbocharged, air/air-cooled 6-cylinder inline design and a displacement of 11.05 cubic inches, delivering a maximum standby output of 272 kW at rated speed. 

Fuel consumption comes in at 58.10 L/hr at 100 percent load, 43.60 L/hr at 75 percent load, and 30 L/hr at 50 percent load. The cooling system uses glycol-ethylene coolant with a 50.50-liter radiator and engine capacity, supported by a 7 kW fan rated for a maximum water temperature of 103°C.

Alternator Performance and Electrical Output

The AT01512T alternator delivers a continuous nominal rating of 250 kVA at 40°C and a standby rating of 275 kVA at 27°C, with an efficiency of 92.40 percent at full load. It operates on a single bearing with direct coupling and IP23 protection, using brushless technology without collars. 

Total harmonic distortion stays below 2.5 percent both on load and off load, and the alternator supports seven different voltage configurations to match a wide range of electrical systems, from 220 TRI up to 230 TRI three-phase setups.

Flexible Control Panel Options

Three control panel choices let operators match monitoring capability to their needs. The APM303 comes standard, offering an LCD screen with phase-to-neutral and phase-to-phase voltage readings, current and power factor measurements, a kWh energy meter, and Modbus RTU communication over RS485, along with a stack of 12 stored events for traceability. 

The TELYS panel steps up with a larger display, voltmeter, frequency meter, ammeter, and USB and PC connectivity for remote operation and monitoring. For larger power plant applications, the APM802 offers a full touch-screen interface designed for hospitals, data centers, banks, and industrial operations, with modular expansion built in.

Enclosure and Fuel Tank Options

The D275 is available in a compact open version measuring 2900 mm long, 1300 mm wide, and 1670 mm tall with a 390-liter tank, or in soundproofed enclosures for quieter operation. The M227 soundproofed version reduces noise to 83 dB(A) at 1 meter and 73 dB(A) at 7 meters. For extended runtime, the M227 DW containment option increases tank capacity to 950 liters, while the M227 DW48 option extends capacity to 2130 liters for longer autonomy between refueling.
