V400C2 Engine and Thermal Performance
The Volvo TAD1342GE delivers a maximum standby output of 333 kW at rated RPM, with a BMEP of 18.97 bar and piston speeds of 7.90 m/s for smooth, consistent power delivery. Heat rejection to exhaust reaches 213 kW with 144 kW transferred to coolant, all managed through a fan air flow capacity of 7.50 m3/s and a thermostat range of 82 to 92 degrees Celsius.
V400C2 Alternator and Electrical Quality
The AT01630T alternator achieves a continuous nominal rating of 365 kVA and a standby rating of 420 kVA, with total harmonic distortion held below 1.5% at no load and below 2% under full load.
Its brushless, direct-coupled design with Class H insulation, IP23 protection, and an unbalanced load acceptance ratio of 70% makes it a highly versatile choice for installations with variable or uneven load profiles.
Control Panel Options
The V400C2 comes standard with the TELYS control panel, a user-friendly unit featuring a large display screen, scroll wheel navigation, and full monitoring of electrical measurements, engine parameters, and fault alarms including overspeed, coolant temperature, and battery voltage.
For power plant environments such as hospitals, data centers, and industrial facilities requiring a higher level of control, the optional APM802 touchscreen controller offers IEC 61131-3 compliant customization, PLC communication functions, and a fully modular architecture designed for long service life and straightforward installation expansion.
