Depending on tank configuration, the unit can run continuously for anywhere from 7 hours on its integral 200-gallon tank at full load to 37 hours on an optional 1000-gallon external tank, giving operators flexibility to match runtime to their backup power needs.

Leroy Somer Alternator and Control System

The Leroy Somer TAL-047-B alternator is self-excited with an optional PMG configuration and features a 4-pole design with a 0.8 power factor. Voltage regulation is held within plus or minus 1.0 percent across the 0 to 100 percent range thanks to the Leroy Somer R250 automatic voltage regulator. 

Controlling the entire system is the DeepSea DSE7320 panel, offering a 132x64 LCD display, a 250-event fault log, and remote monitoring options via Ethernet, RS485, or SMS through a GSM/SIM card. For facilities requiring multi-unit setups, the DSE8610 controller option supports paralleling of up to 32 generators with automatic load sharing and bus failure detection.
