Behind these specifications is a generator built to perform when it matters most. Each unit is prototype and individually factory load bank tested, and the generator accepts 100 percent rated load in one step as required by NFPA 110 and ISO8528-5 class G-3 standards.

Power Output Built for Reliable Standby Service

The GP-J300-60T3 delivers consistent standby performance across multiple voltage configurations, giving facilities flexibility during installation. At 480/277V, 460/265V, and 440/254V, it produces 310 kWe standby power, with standby amperage ranging from 466 amps up to 508 amps depending on voltage.

The unit also supports 240/120V Delta and 208/120V configurations at 293 kWe, and 220/127V at 310 kWe, with standby amperage reaching as high as 1017 amps on the lower voltage configurations. This adaptability makes the unit a strong fit for facilities with varied electrical infrastructure requirements. Note that this model is rated for standby (ESP) applications only, with no prime power rating available.

Engineering Details of the John Deere Engine and Alternator

The 6090HFG86 engine features a 118.4mm bore and 136mm stroke, delivering a maximum standby output of 345 kW (463 HP) at rated RPM through its turbocharged and aftercooled design.

Fuel runtime autonomy scales well with tank size, running 6 hours at 100% prime load on the integral 132 gallon tank and extending to 22 hours with an external 500 gallon tank. The Leroy Somer TAL-046-G alternator complements this with a self excited design, PMG optional, paired with a Leroy Somer R250 AVR that holds voltage regulation to within plus or minus 1.0% across the 0 to 100% load range.

Built for Durability in Demanding Conditions

Construction quality reflects the standards this unit is built to meet. The mechanically welded chassis includes vibration isolators to reduce operational stress, while a main line circuit breaker provides maximum output protection.

The optional GP-6090 enclosure features 12 gauge electro-zinc powder coated steel for corrosion resistance, a 29dB(A) internal-mounted critical silencer, and up to 51mm of acoustic insulation. Interchangeable modular panel construction allows full serviceability without compromising enclosure integrity, and the design meets NFX41002 salt spray, NFT30049 UV performance, and 2000/14EC low sound directives.

Control Panel and Accessory Options for the GP-J300-60T3

The GP-J300-60T3 comes standard with the DeepSea DSE 7320 control panel, offering manual and automatic start/stop control, full CANBUS connectivity, a 250 event fault log, and remote monitoring via Ethernet, RS485, or SMS.

Facilities requiring multi-generator installations can upgrade to the DeepSea DSE 8610, which adds paralleling for up to 32 generators along with peak lopping and automatic hours run balancing. Additional options include UL1008 listed automatic transfer switches, UL142 listed double wall fuel tanks from 50 to 5000 gallons, and D.O.T. compliant heavy duty road trailers.
