Engineered Around a Proven John Deere Engine

At the core of this unit is the John Deere 6090HF484-2422, a 6-cylinder, 4-stroke diesel engine running at 1800 RPM with a 16.0:1 compression ratio and an electronic governor for tight speed control. It produces a maximum standby rating of 315 kW (422 HP), giving the system headroom above its rated output. 

Fuel efficiency is strong across load ranges, consuming roughly 71.3 L/hr at 100% prime load, 61.6 L/hr at 75%, and 43.6 L/hr at 50%. With the standard 132 gallon integral tank, the unit can run approximately 7 hours at 100% prime load or 8 hours at 75%, and runtime extends dramatically with optional external tanks, up to 106 hours at 100% load with a 2000 gallon tank.

GP-J275-60T3-3PHASE Voltage and Amperage Configurations

This generator is available across multiple voltage configurations to match your facility's electrical requirements. At 480/277V, it delivers 272 kW ESP and 240 kW PRP with 409 standby amps. Other available configurations include 440/254V, 240/120V Delta, 220/127V, and 208/120V, each rated for 270 kW ESP and 240 kW PRP with amperage ratings scaled accordingly for the specific voltage. 

All configurations are three phase. Understanding the difference between the two power ratings matters here: PRP (Prime Power) supports unlimited annual operating hours in variable load applications, while ESP (Standby Power) is intended specifically for emergency power supply and does not allow for overload.

Reliable Alternator and Digital Control

The Leroy Somer TAL-046-G alternator features a 4-pole, self-excited design with an optional PMG configuration, direct single bearing coupling, and voltage regulation held tight at plus or minus 1.0% across the full 0 to 100% range. Pairing this with the Leroy Somer R150 AVR ensures stable output even under fluctuating loads. 

Control comes from the Deep Sea DSE7320 panel, offering a 132x64 LCD display, a 250 event fault log, remote monitoring via Ethernet, RS485, or SMS, and full alarm and shutdown protection for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and current.

Weatherproof Enclosure Built for Longevity

Housed in the GP-6068-6090 enclosure, the unit is constructed from 12 gauge electro-zinc powder coated steel for corrosion resistance, with up to 51mm of acoustic insulation and a 29dB(A) internal silencer for reduced noise output. Multi-personnel access doors, an externally mounted emergency stop, and a tamper proof viewing window support easy servicing and safe operation in the field.
