BCV 400-60 T3/F Engine and Thermal Performance
The Volvo TAD 1353GE delivers a gross prime output of 410 kWm with an electronic governor and full ECU/CANBus management for precise load response and protection. Heat rejection to engine cooling water reaches 165 kW at prime load, with an additional 93 kW rejected through the charge cooler, supported by a maximum coolant temperature ceiling of 102°C and a total coolant capacity of 44 litres.
BCV 400-60 T3/F Control System
The standard BC 7310 control system, built on the Deep Sea Electronics DSE7310 platform, provides full digital auto start capability with CANBus engine integration and LCD monitoring of coolant temperature, oil pressure, volts, amps, frequency, kW, kVA, and power factor.
Upgrade options include the BC 7320 with full AMF and mains monitoring functionality, the BC 8610 for set-to-set synchronisation, or the BC 8620 for single set-to-mains synchronisation, giving operators a scalable control solution as installation requirements grow.
Optional Acoustic Enclosure
The Canopy 5R acoustic enclosure reduces sound pressure to 78 dB(A) at 1 metre and 68 dB(A) at 7 metres, making it well suited for noise-sensitive or harsh outdoor environments.
Constructed from fully welded steel with rock wool and perforated zintec lining, it features side-opening service doors, a control panel viewing window, heavy duty locks, and an integrated 985-litre fuel tank, adding robust weather protection and extended runtime capability to the open set.
