Every unit ships with a factory test certificate, operation and maintenance manual, industrial silencer supplied loose, and a BC 7210 digital auto start control system as standard.

The fully welded steel baseframe with heavy duty rubber anti-vibration mountings and separate engine-driven battery charging alternator make the BCC 275-60 T3/F straightforward to commission and reliable from day one.

BCC 275-60 T3/F Engine and Thermal Performance

The Cummins QSL9-G5 delivers a gross standby output of 355 kWm at 1800 RPM via an electronic governor and high-pressure common rail fuel management system, achieving a BMEP of 2665 kPa under standby conditions.

Heat rejection to the engine cooling water reaches 140 kW at standby load, with an additional 80 kW rejected through the charge cooler, all managed through a maximum coolant temperature of 104 degrees Celsius and a total coolant capacity of 15.5 litres.

BCC 275-60 T3/F Alternator and Electrical Quality

The CGT Stamford HCI 444 D alternator is a self-excited, directly coupled, single-bearing unit operating at a 0.8 power factor with Class H insulation and voltage regulation held to within plus or minus 1.0%.

With a 3-phase, 4-pole, Winding 311 configuration and an AS 440 AVR, it delivers consistent, stable power output well suited to sensitive loads and demanding standby applications.

Control Panel Options

The BCC 275-60 T3/F comes standard with the BC 7210 Auto Start system, based on the DSE 7210 module, providing automatic remote start, overspeed and underspeed protection, low oil pressure and high coolant temperature protection, fail to start indication, and digital displays for volts, amps, frequency, and engine hours.

Upgrade options include the BC 7310 and BC 7320 for enhanced power monitoring with kW, kVA, and power factor displays plus RS485 telemetry and CANBus integration, while the BC 8610 and BC 8620 add set-to-set and set-to-mains synchronisation capability for parallel generation installations.
