The MTU 16V4000G83F engine at the core of the X2300U II runs at 1800 RPM and is capable of a maximum standby output of 2,508 kW at rated speed. With a bore and stroke of 170mm by 210mm and a compression ratio of 16.5, this engine is built for sustained heavy duty operation. 

Fuel consumption at 100% load measures 536 liters per hour, dropping to 398 liters per hour at 75% load and 277 liters per hour at 50% load, giving operators a clear picture of fuel planning across variable demand. 

A maximum fuel pump flow of 1,500 liters per hour ensures the engine receives adequate supply even under peak conditions, while the electronic governor maintains tight speed control throughout the load range.

The LSA 51.2 VL90 alternator delivers a continuous nominal rating of 2,832 kVA at 40°C and a standby rating of 3,115 kVA at 27°C, with efficiency reaching 96.30 percent at full load. Operating on a direct coupling with a single bearing and no collector rings or brushes, this alternator is designed for minimal maintenance and long service life. 

Total harmonic distortion stays below 3.5 percent under both no-load and on-load conditions, supporting clean power delivery for sensitive equipment. The alternator also handles a transient dip of just 10.20 percent at full load with a 0.8 power factor, reflecting strong performance during sudden load changes common in data center and industrial environments.

Control Panel Options for Every Application

The X2300U II is compatible with three distinct control panel options. The M80 serves as a dual function control unit, working as both a basic terminal block and an instrument panel with tachometer, coolant temperature, and oil pressure readouts. 

The TELYS panel steps up functionality with a large display screen, scroll wheel navigation, and full electrical measurements alongside alarm monitoring for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage. 

For large scale power plant operations, the APM802 offers a 100% touch screen interface designed specifically for hospitals, data centers, banks, and industrial facilities, with PLC integration and customization compliant with IEC 61131-3.

Cooling, Heat Rejection, and Site Planning

Thermal management on this unit is substantial, with heat rejection to exhaust reaching 1,588 kW and heat rejection to coolant ranging from 560 to 840 kW. The cooling system holds 870 liters of coolant and maintains a maximum water temperature of 104°C. For soundproofed installations, the enclosed version measures 12,192mm long with a dry weight of 25,400 kg and delivers an acoustic pressure level of 94 dB(A) at 1 meter, dropping to 86 dB(A) at 7 meters.
