Reliable Engine Performance Behind the T2000U II

At the heart of the T2000U II is the Mitsubishi S16R-PTAA2 engine, a turbocharged 16 cylinder powerplant with a displacement of 65.37 cubic inches and a compression ratio of 13.5:1. Running at 1800 RPM, it produces a maximum standby power of 2105 kW at rated speed. 

The engine features an electronic governor for precise frequency control and is cooled by a glycol ethylene system with a 370 liter capacity, keeping water temperatures capped at 98°C even under sustained heavy loads.

Fuel efficiency is a key advantage of this unit. At 100% load, consumption runs at 470 liters per hour, dropping to 251.50 liters per hour at 50% load. The maximum fuel pump flow reaches 648 liters per hour, giving operators confidence that the engine can respond to demand spikes without compromising performance.

Alternator Design and Electrical Output

The LSA 51.2 M60 alternator paired with the T2000U II delivers a continuous nominal rating of 2460 kVA at 40°C and a standby rating of 2706 kVA at 27°C, with an efficiency of 95.60% at full load. Built without a collar or brush, the alternator reduces maintenance needs while maintaining strong performance under variable and unbalanced loads, supporting an unbalanced load acceptance ratio of 8%.

Total harmonic distortion stays below 3.5% in both no load and on load conditions, helping protect sensitive equipment connected downstream. The AVR regulation system and direct coupling design further contribute to stable, clean power delivery across demanding industrial environments.

Built for Durability and Ease of Use

Every T2000U II ships with a mechanically welded chassis featuring antivibration suspension, along with a radiator rated for wiring temperatures up to 48/50°C. The unit arrives pre filled with oil and coolant rated to negative 30°C, so installation teams can get the generator running quickly even in cold climates. Exhaust compensators with flanges and an optional protective grille for the fan and rotating parts add another layer of operational safety.

Control Panel Options for the T2000U II

Operators can choose between three control panel options depending on facility needs. The M80 offers a straightforward instrument panel with tachometer, working hours counter, and coolant temperature indicators. 

The TELYS panel adds a large display screen, scroll wheel navigation, and remote communication capability through USB and PC connections. For large scale power plant management, the APM802 touch screen system offers advanced customization and PLC integration.
