This brand-new Broadcrown ACBCM1200S is a fully packaged, export-grade silent diesel generator set built around the Mitsubishi S12R-PTA2 engine platform, designed for demanding standby and prime power applications worldwide. 

Assembled in ISO9001 certified facilities and housed in a weatherproof silent enclosure, it combines Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries engine engineering with a premium industrial alternator for reliable, long-term performance in any deployment environment.

Every unit is factory load bank tested prior to shipment and is engineered to accept 100% rated load in a single step in accordance with NFPA 110. This is an export-only product intended for international markets.

Mitsubishi S12R-PTA2 Engine Performance

The Mitsubishi S12R-PTA2 is a 12-cylinder, 60-degree V-configuration, 4-stroke turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine producing 1,470 kW (1,971 bhp) gross standby output at 1800 RPM. Using proprietary Mitsubishi MHIET mechanical fuel injection and turbocharger technology, it delivers economical fuel consumption alongside maximized power output in a compact footprint that simplifies installation. 

The engine features jacket water aftercooling, a high-capacity coolant flow of 1,850 litres per minute, and a standard thermostat with a maximum coolant outlet temperature of 98°C (208°F). Speed regulation is held within plus or minus 0.25% under any constant load via the electronic governor, ensuring stable 60 Hz frequency output throughout the load range. 

The engine's robust construction is ideally suited for data centers, commercial buildings, manufacturing plants, and other mission-critical power applications requiring continuous high-load operation.

ACBCM1200S Alternator and Electrical Output

The ACBCM1200S is fitted with a premium industrial brushless alternator from Stamford or Leroy Somer, selected to match the power output characteristics of the S12R-PTA2 engine precisely. 

The single-bearing, self-ventilated, drip-proof design features Class H insulation for sustained operation at elevated ambient temperatures, and an automatic voltage regulator maintains tight voltage regulation across variable load conditions. The brushless, rotating field configuration eliminates the need for slip rings and brush maintenance, reducing long-term servicing requirements in remote or hard-to-access installations. 

The alternator is wound to produce a superior voltage waveform with low total harmonic distortion, protecting connected equipment from power quality issues common in lesser generator designs.

Fuel System and Runtime Autonomy

The ACBCM1200S is configured with an incorporated metallic day tank providing practical daily runtime autonomy without requiring external fuel infrastructure at most sites. The Mitsubishi S12R-PTA2 engine's fuel injection system draws from the tank via a feed pump with a maximum suction head of 75 mmHg, and the return and leak-off lines are rated for a maximum static head of 150 mmHg for flexible tank positioning. 

Maximum fuel suction lift from tank to engine is well accommodated within the standard skid-mounted tank configuration, and the fuel system includes industry-standard flexible connectors for vibration isolation and ease of service.

ACBCM1200S Silent Enclosure and Control System

The Broadcrown silent enclosure is constructed for weatherproof, export-ready deployment, providing acoustic attenuation suited to noise-sensitive installation environments and corrosion protection for a wide range of international climates. Service access doors allow routine maintenance without major disassembly, and the cooling air inlet and discharge system is sized to maintain full thermal performance at the rated ambient temperature ceiling. 

The digital control panel is microprocessor-based, featuring comprehensive engine and generator protection, LCD display, multilingual capability, programmable inputs and outputs, and full automatic shutdown coverage for all critical fault conditions including over and under voltage, overload, high coolant temperature, and low oil pressure. The system is backed by Mitsubishi's worldwide engine support network and Broadcrown's established global distribution presence, ensuring parts availability and technical support wherever this generator is deployed.
