BCJD70-60 Engine and Fuel Performance
The John Deere 4045 is a turbocharged, water-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine running at 1800 RPM, delivering consistent standby output with dry air filtration and spin-on oil and fuel filters for easy maintenance. The integral fuel tank provides on-board fuel capacity for immediate use, while the engine's efficient design keeps fuel costs manageable across partial and full load operation.
BCJD70-60 Alternator and Control System
The CGT Stamford UCI 224 alternator features a self-excited brushless design with Class H insulation and a direct single-bearing coupling for maximum reliability and minimal maintenance.
The standard BC 7210 Digital Auto Start controller provides automatic remote start, digital display of volts, amps, frequency, and engine operating hours, along with overspeed, low oil pressure, and high coolant temperature protection with automatic cool-down timer functionality.
Control Upgrades and Enclosure Options
Upgrade to the BC 7310/7320 for full RS485 telemetry, SAE J1939 CANBus, kW/kVA/power factor display, and over/under voltage protection, or choose the BC 8610/8620 for set-to-set or set-to-mains synchronization in multi-generator installations.
An optional weatherproof acoustic canopy enclosure is also available, offering protection for harsh outdoor environments with significant sound attenuation for noise-sensitive deployment sites.
