BCY35-60SP: 35 kW Yanmar Diesel Generator

For residential, light commercial, and small business applications that need reliable single-phase backup power in a compact open-skid format, the BCY35-60SP is a proven, export-ready solution. Engineered by Broadcrown and powered by a water-cooled Yanmar 4TNV98 diesel engine paired with a CGT Stamford single-phase alternator, this generator set is factory tested and built to ISO 8528-1 and ISO 3046-1 standards.

BCY35-60SP Engine and Fuel Performance

The Yanmar 4TNV98 is a turbocharged, water-cooled 4-cylinder engine running at 1800 RPM, delivering consistent single-phase output with dry air filtration and spin-on oil and fuel filters for straightforward servicing. 

Its compact displacement and efficient fuel delivery keep operating costs low, while the integral base tank provides on-board fuel for immediate standby use without external tank connections.

BCY35-60SP Alternator and Control System

The CGT Stamford single-phase brushless alternator features Class H insulation, a direct single-bearing coupling, and the SX460 AVR maintaining voltage regulation within +/-1.0% from no load to full load. 

The standard BC 7210 Digital Auto Start controller provides automatic remote start, digital display of volts, amps, frequency, and engine operating hours, along with overspeed, low oil pressure, and high coolant temperature protection with automatic cool-down timer.

Control Upgrades and Enclosure Options

Upgrade to the BC 7310/7320 for RS485 telemetry, kW/kVA display, and over/under voltage protection, or choose the BC 8610/8620 for synchronization capabilities in multi-generator setups. 

An optional weatherproof acoustic canopy enclosure is available for harsh outdoor environments, and an enclosed super-silent version (ACBCY35-60SP) is also offered for noise-sensitive installations.
