The industrial-grade cooling system includes fan guards and a coolant drain extension with an in-line valve, features that simplify both routine maintenance and emergency service access. An oil drain extension with in-line valve is also fitted as standard, reducing service time and minimizing the risk of spills during oil changes in tight installation environments.
Leroy Somer TAL-047-D Alternator and Electrical System
The Leroy Somer TAL-047-D is a 12-lead, brushless alternator manufactured entirely in Europe to premium industrial standards, full-load rated with thermo-magnetic switch protection for comprehensive output circuit defense. The skewed rotor and 2/3 pitch winding design actively suppresses triple harmonics, delivering a superior voltage waveform that protects sensitive electronic loads and reduces the risk of interference with downstream equipment.

The large four-line backlit LCD display supports up to seven languages and provides a clear, intuitive interface for operators in manual, test, and auto operation modes, with two-wire remote start/stop capability for integration with external control systems and ATS/AMF equipment.
The 250-event history log captures faults with full context for rapid diagnostics, and more than 50 fully configurable alarms allow the system to be tailored precisely to the requirements of each installation. Automatic shutdowns cover under/over voltage, overload, over current, under/over frequency, under/over speed, high coolant temperature, low oil pressure, and low coolant level, providing comprehensive engine and alternator protection without requiring additional relay logic.

The GP-P500-60T4F is built on a 7-gauge heavy duty steel skid with a sloped-surface basin design providing 110% containment of engine fluids, meeting the environmental protection requirements of most jurisdictions without additional secondary containment structures. Heavy duty anti-vibration mountings isolate the engine, radiator, and generator from the frame to reduce vibration transmission and noise, while the electrolyte-charged battery with rack, cables, rubber-booted connections, and battery disconnect switch arrives ready for immediate commissioning.
