25 kW Kohler Generator Engine and Fuel Performance

The Kohler diesel engine is a 4-cycle, turbocharged, inline 4-cylinder running at 1800 RPM, delivering reliable standby output with dry air filtration and a full-pressure lubrication system. 

Fuel consumption runs approximately 5.7 L/hr (1.5 gph) at 50% load and 3.4 L/hr (0.9 gph) at 25% load, making it an economical choice for facilities with variable load profiles and extended outage scenarios.

Alternator and Controller on the 25 kW Kohler Generator

The Kohler brushless alternator features a wound-field excitation system with Class H insulation and vacuum-impregnated epoxy varnish windings for long-term durability. 

The APM402 controller provides full digital monitoring, remote PC communication via network or serial connection, built-in alternator thermal overload protection, and NFPA 110 Level 1 compliance when paired with the appropriate accessories.
