OVERVIEW
200 KW 250 KVA Perkins Generator: EPA Stationary Emergency, 1-Phase
The 200 KW 250 KVA Perkins Generator is a fully packaged single-phase diesel generator set built for facilities that need dependable backup power without the complexity of a three-phase electrical system. Every unit is factory load bank tested and engineered to meet strict national and international standards before it ever leaves the plant.
- PERKINS 1106D-E70TAG5 engine, 1800 RPM, turbocharged and aftercooled
- STAMFORD UCI 274H alternator, 12 leads, brushless, Class H insulation
- DEEPSEA DSE7320 digital controller with 4-line backlit LCD display
- Standby power rating of approximately 200 kW / 250 kVA, single-phase output
- 148-gallon single-walled integral metallic fuel tank for daily autonomy
- Electronic fuel level sender with visual gauge and programmable alarms
- Main line circuit breaker rated for maximum output protection

This configuration suits smaller commercial buildings, residential complexes, and light industrial sites where single-phase service is standard. With a proven Perkins engine at its core and rigorous factory testing behind every unit, this generator is built to deliver when the grid goes down.
Perkins Engine Performance and Reliability
The PERKINS 1106D-E70TAG5 engine sits at the heart of this generator, running at a steady 1800 RPM with turbocharging and aftercooling for consistent output under load. An electronic isochronous governor keeps frequency stable as load conditions shift, while an industrial-grade cooling system with fan guards and a coolant drain extension supports long-term durability.
Perkins engines are known worldwide for parts availability and service support, which matters when a facility depends on this equipment for true emergencies rather than routine use.
Stamford Alternator and Digital Control System
Power is delivered through a Stamford UCI 274H alternator, a brushless design with 12 leads and full load rated thermo-magnetic switch protection. A skewed rotor and two-thirds pitch winding suppress triple harmonics, producing a clean voltage waveform for sensitive electronics.
Class H insulation and a self-ventilated, drip-proof design round out the build. Managing the whole system is the DeepSea DSE7320 controller, a microprocessor-based unit with a dual-core processor, extended memory, and a large backlit display supporting multiple languages.
It offers manual, test, and automatic operation modes, two-wire remote start and stop capability, a 250-event history log, and more than 50 configurable alarms covering voltage, frequency, current, and coolant conditions.
Fuel System and Runtime Autonomy
A 148-gallon single-walled integral metallic fuel tank gives this unit strong daily autonomy without requiring an external tank. At 75 percent prime power load, the unit runs for approximately 13 hours, and at 100 percent prime load it runs for approximately 10 hours.
The tank includes an electronic fuel level sender paired with a visual gauge, along with programmable low-level and high-level alarms and shutdowns so operators always know where they stand on fuel.
Build Quality and Standard Features
The chassis is a heavy duty, mechanically welded 7-gauge steel skid designed to isolate the engine, radiator, and generator from vibration and noise. A master cabinet houses all control, power, and breaker connections in a mechanically compartmentalized layout with vertical conduit access.
An electrolyte-charged battery, rack, cables, and rubber-booted connections come standard, along with an oil drain extension for simplified maintenance.
