The KD27V12-6CFS engine runs at 1800 RPM with turbocharging and an intercooler, paired with an electronic isochronous governor for precise frequency control under changing loads. An industrial-grade cooling system with fan guards and a coolant drain extension with in-line valve supports reliable operation in demanding environments. 

The KH04070TO4D alternator complements this with a 12-lead, brushless design that is full load rated with thermo-magnetic switch protection. A skewed rotor and 2/3 pitch winding suppress triple harmonics to guarantee a superior voltage waveform, while Class H insulation and electronic automatic voltage regulation round out a design built for clean, dependable power.

Heavy-duty anti-vibration mounts isolate the engine, radiator, and generator from the frame to reduce vibration and noise, while an electrolyte-charged battery with rack, cables, and rubber-booted connections ensures reliable starting.

Advanced Control and Fuel Autonomy

The M80-D controller is a microprocessor-based system with a dual-core main processor and extended memory, UL listed for safety compliance. Its large, 4-line backlit LCD display supports up to 7 languages and offers manual, test, and auto operation modes with 2-wire remote start/stop capability. 

A 250-event history log and more than 50 fully configurable alarms give operators detailed insight into generator performance, with automatic shutdowns covering under/over voltage, overload, over current, under/over frequency, under/over speed, high coolant temperature, low oil pressure, and low coolant level. Depending on configuration, the enclosed version's 273-gallon integral fuel tank delivers 5 hours of runtime at 100% PRP, while the open-skid version's 132-gallon tank provides 2 hours at the same load.
